I've had quite an absence from here (again). The reason is that my computer has been broken, and since I've had a lot to do at work (and tired when I've gotten home) it took some time before I actually got it fixed. So if I haven't been replying comments and/or notes, that's why.

But now I'm back

I haven't posted anything for a while, but I have actually been drawing a lot. I bought a drawing tablett recently, so I've spent many days trying to get along with it As many probably know, it's not that easy. But with a little patience (and motivational music) it's a funny struggle!

I also love how the spring has arrived. Yesterday me and my best friend took a long walk in the forest, and that felt so inspiring. I feel an eager to draw more forest themed drawings.

It feels great with a new year! 2018 was actually quite mixed when it came to art creating for me. Some periods I felt inspired and drew more than ever, while other periods I felt like just standing on the same point.

For 2019 I will try to keep the flame of art creating alive by setting up nice art challenges for myself, try out new styles and develop my current styles. Having fun is the core of it all though

It was a long time since I wrote something here. The last two years have been emotional in several ways, with both ups and downs. It has affected my art making, so that I some periods have lacked creativity and other times have felt a burst of lust for drawing and trying new things. I think the Inktober Challenge 2017 played a huge part in this, as I embraced the idea of creating and publishing artwork in a faster pace.

I have a little dream of having some kind of exhibition, and so I am working to have enough pieces that I can use for something like that. I don't want to go too far back in my gallery, as I want the exhibition to mainly contain my more recent works.

There are three pieces of my gallery that I'm particularly fond of lately, in which I found new techniques and design ideas that I've used since. They are Carrying the skies, Amid origin and Art and stillness.



With them I combined several art features that I love: chibi style, fantasy/myth themes, japanese culture, wings and shimmering colors. Among others.

Although I have my days when motivation and inspiration just won't appear, I really feel like I am - on a personal level of course - in a better art creating shape than ever.
